Amanda Courtney

My name is Amanda Courtney and I am the owner of Amanda’s Wine Adventures. Born and raised in the United States, I now live and work in one of the most important Wine areas in Italy (Barolo & Barbaresco as well at Etna), and I would like to give you a real personal look at Italy through a wine Lover’s eyes.

Since making my home here in Langhe in 2011, I have traveled the whole country of Italy extensively discovering all of the specifics of Italian wine, food, and culture.

Gianni Albesano

gianniGianni is a local, and grew up amongst the vines in a grape growing family. He also is a winemaker for one of Barbaresco’s most famous wineries. Where he has been working side by side for the past 18 years with some of the most talented people in the Langhe.

In 2018 Gianni and Amanda have undergone a new project together working their own organic Nebbiolo vineyards and making wine under their own label. From this project Gianni is now able to flex his wine making muscles and show the world how talented he is.

No one knows the Langhe and Monferrato better than Gianni. He loves his food and wine and is not afraid to travel great lengths to meet the people and see first hand how the finest products are made. Not only but he likes to eat them after:)

Nicolò Borgogno

Hello! I’m Nicolò, born and raised in the beautiful Langhe (yes, I’m biased—and proudly so). My love for this corner of Piedmont turned into my work, allowing me to show people my area through wine, food, and unforgettable local experiences.

Apart from expressing my passion for this area, I am one of a few official truffle judges. I have a deep passion for languages, wine, and my territory. I speak nine languages—mostly useful for talking about food and ordering wine in all of them. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me on a tennis court or planning the next great meal.

Erika Baracco

I’m a DOCG girl, born and raised in the heart of the Langhe. Every day, I fall a little more in love with its breathtaking landscapes. My roots here run deep, but traveling fuels my curiosity and feeds my soul.

Food and wine are my greatest passions, and I love sharing the authentic flavors, timeless traditions, and hidden stories that make this region not just special—but truly delicious.

With a background in tourism, I blend local knowledge with a traveler’s mindset. When I’m not exploring or reading, you’ll find me traveling… or squeezing in a CrossFit workout when time allows.
